"Faith Beyond Measure" Original Artwork

This painting depicts Daniel in the Lion's den as told in the biblical text. I wanted this painting to depict a combination of fear but an overwhelming sense of peace. My intent was to have the viewer search through the painting and as you do the gravity of the situation at hand hits you when you realize he is in a place of peace within a den of lions.
